Jr. Adventurers

Junior Adventurers
Cost: $725

For our rising seventh graders, CASC has added a new exciting camp! This camp combines many of the favorite activity choices from Day Camp and an introduction to the off-site trips from Teen Adventure Camp. Junior Adventurers trips throughout the summer will include visits to the Museum of Science, Duck Tours of Boston, and a local sporting event, among many others still in the planning phases. Weekly schedules will be available in early Spring.
Junior Adventurers will also have the opportunity to participate in an overnight (Friday night, pick-up Saturday morning) occasionally throughout the summer at Concord Academy as well as the Day Camp’s Friday afternoon special events.

We will use CA mini-vans and/or mini busses for off-site transportation; all trips will be chaperoned by our JA staff, many of whom have worked with our 5th and 6th graders for the past several years.

Junior Adventurers camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Space is limited - register today!

All of the off-site trips will take Concord Academy mini-vans and/or mini-busses, and will be chaperoned by our Teen Adventure staff, many of whom have worked with Teen Adventure Camp for the past several summers and are all 21+ and CPR and First Aid Certified.

Entering tenth grade or 15-years-old
by July 9, 2012 • Cost: $1,050

The sessions will include community building projects, “classroom” style learning, special event planning, as well as hands-on work with groups of various ages. Participants will complete First Aid and CPR certification training and will have an opportunity to practice for future job interviews. Each C.I.T. will be evaluated several times throughout the session and successful graduates may be invited to return as Junior Counselors for future weeks or next summer. All registered C.I.T.s will receive an additional information packet from the C.I.T. Director in early spring.
