Job Opportunities:

Head Counselors
We are looking for Head Counselors to help supervise a co-ed group of campers in a specific age group, leading them through their daily activities. We prefer that our Head Counselors are teachers during the year, or have graduated from college with a background in working with children. It is helpful if our Head Counselors possess exceptional experience in managing groups of children. In addition they are responsible for supporting specialists at the activities and supervising and evaluating the group counselors on their team.

Group Counselors
Group Counselors assist Head Counselors in many different ways. They provide their group of campers with a safe environment, room to grow, and an overall positive camp experience. Group Counselors also are expected to assist specialists in the full range of camp activities. Each day offers many opportunities for responsibility, leadership, and to make a difference in the life of a child.

Specialists
Specialists are individuals who have a specific talent in one area of camp, and who are looking to work with our wide range of ages, 3-15 years old. The best candidates will have specific experience with their chosen specialty, in addition to having worked with children. Specialists are responsible for creating a creative and engaging program that is age- appropriate. For most of our programs, we have a Head Specialist and an Assistant Specialist. Our programs include archery, arts and crafts, canoeing, ceramics, dance, drama, low ropes, music, nature, sports activities, team sports, tennis, and woodshop.

Swim Staff
Our swim staff is comprised of certified lifeguards and water safety instructors. The swim staff is responsible for leading Red Cross swimming lessons on a daily basis, guarding the pool during free swim time in the afternoons, and keeping the pool area a safe place at all times.

Teen Adventure Staff
We are looking for fun and enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our Teen Adventure Camp. This program is open to campers entering 7th-9th grade, and includes a lot of day trips and one overnight trip during every two-week session. It is an adventure-based program with a community service component. The ideal candidate should possess a love for working with this age group as well as a love for adventure and the ability to work as part of a team.

Please note: at this time we are not accepting applications for 2011.

"My son had a terrific summer. The kiddie camp staff was phenomenal. They really got to know my son, made him feel special, and tailored activities to his interests. Their energy, enthusiasm and love of children gave my son a wonderful and memorable camp experience."
